All compensation joints are installed and inspected and then pressure tested together with the pipeline. There should be no leakage at welds, flange joints and sealing positions.

When the compensation joint leaks in the pressure test, the method of adjusting the gland bolt should be adopted to eliminate the leakage.

The brackets (guide brackets and fixed brackets) equipped in the construction and installation pipelines should meet the requirements for the use of compensation joints.
